Charpie receives Leaders for Learning Award
Fourth-year Newark High School English teacher Alison Charpie was awarded with the Licking County Foundation's Leaders for Learning Award for 2018. Superintendent Doug Ute, Principal Tom Bowman and representatives from the foundation presented Charpie with the award. The Leaders for Learning Award was created by the Licking County Foundation in 1993 to honor school teachers who exemplify excellence in their fields.  Read More...

Support Newark athletics by purchasing a brick at White Field
Become a permanent part of Paul "Hoss" Starr Stadium at White Field by purchasing a personalized brick that will be displayed at the stadium.  The athletic department is raising money to renovate/replace the press box at Paul "Hoss" Starr Stadium at White Field through a personalized brick. The bricks will be placed around the new statue at the field. To place an order, please click here for a form with more information. Attention all future Wildcat Basketball Players, registration for the 5th and 6th grade Newark Boys Basketball League is underway. Registration forms can be collected at your school’s office or at the Newark HS Athletic Office. The deadline for registration is Nov. 12th.  Practices and games will begin in early December. Carson Elementary choir to perform at Blue Jackets game Dec. 13
The Carson Elementary Choir will perform prior to the Columbus Blue Jackets game on Dec. 13. Newark fans are able to purchase tickets to the game, which will see a portion of proceeds go toward the Carson choir program. Tickets for performers are $20 or $30, while non-performer tickets are $38 or $65, depending on upper or lower bowl seats. More information is available by clicking this link.
