Register now for the Wildcat Summer Volleyball Camp, grades 6-12
Newark Volleyball is hosting a four-day summer camp for students entering grades 6 through 12 who are interested in playing volleyball. The camp will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on July 25 through July 28, in the Newark High School gymnasium. The cost for the camp is $25, which pays for a T-shirt, one-on-one instruction and team play. No experience is necessary. Supply Lists for the 2016-17 school year
Supply lists for students entering grades K-8 are now available. Families can download the list for elementary schools here. The middle school lists are available, as well: Heritage Middle School, Liberty Middle School, Wilson Middle School. 
District hosting special registration days in August
New students enrolling into the Newark City School District this fall can enroll at any time this summer at the Administrative Service Center, in the former Roosevelt School, at 621 Mount Vernon Road. Registration documents are available to download here on our website. The district is hosting four special registration days on the following dates: Aug. 4, 11, 16 and 18. During these dates, the district office will be open from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. If you are enrolling your child in any grade, K-8, for the fall, please consider enrolling them at this time. 
2016 Summer Food Service Program
Summer is coming soon, and thanks to continued local partnerships with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Summer Food Service Program will continue this year, beginning on June 6. Meals will be served at these locations on weekdays from June 6 through August 12. Meals are open to any child under the age of 18. Please contact Lt. Denise Martin or Kaye Hartman at 740-345-8120 with any questions.

Please note that the list of graduates is not official, as due to printing deadlines, the program was created about a week before graduation. 
Where is the Class of 2016 headed?
Graduates from the class of 2016 have been offered more than $1.8 million in scholarships, and 119 students have reported that they plan to attend post-secondary education options.
