NHS hosts foreign language camp for 4-6 graders
The Newark High School foreign language program is hosting a camp for students in grades 4 through 6 who are interested in learning beginning French and Spanish. The camp will be held from July 17 through 21 from 9 a.m. to noon at the high school. Please print and return the form at this link by June 1.  Read More...

The good news is that the U.S. Department of Agriculture has partnered in your local community and agencies to serve free meals. It’s food that’s in, while school is out. With the end of the school year nearing, it’s time to start thinking about summer school if you are in middle or high school. The first section of summer school will be held from June 5 through June 23; the second session will be from June 26 through July 14. Middle school summer school is only offered during the second session. The cost for one semester is $153, and for both semesters is $204, for district residents. The cost for out-of-district students is $230 for one semester and $300 for both.  Read More...

The Newark City School District is offering its second annual, free weeklong STEM Camp from June 19 through 23 this summer. Last year's camp allowed students to explore coding, circuits, 3D printing, robotics and more. The camp is for students who have completed grades 3 through 8. To register for this year's STEM Camp, please download and fill out this form and return it to your child's building principal by May 19.  Read More...
