All schools Closed Wednesday, Feb. 10
The Newark City Schools will be CLOSED on Wedneday, Feb. 10 due to the weather conditions.
Boys Basketball Game Cancelled
The NHS Boys Basketball game scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 9 has been cancelled and rescheduled for tomorrow, Feb. 10.
Sweetheart Serenade Cancelled
The Third Annual Sweetheart Serenade Spaghetti Dinner scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 11 has been cancelled. The Choir Boosters are planning to reschedule the event.
Have a Heart, Give a Book
It is never too early start reading to a child. Do you have any books that parents can read to children, newborns through age five? Throughout the month of February, the Newark Teachers Association (NTA) is spearheading a book drive.
NHS Senior a Candidate for Presidential Scholar
Newark High School senior Alex VanAtta is a candidate for the 2010 Presidential Scholars Program, one of the highest honors bestowed upon graduating high school seniors. He is the only candidate from Licking County.
