The program for the 169th annual Newark High School Commencement Ceremony is now available. You can download the program by clicking this link. More than 380 members of the Class of 2018 will walk across the stage at White Field on Saturday, May 26. Rear Admiral Roy Kelley, a 1980 graduate who is the commander of the Naval Atlantic fleet, will speak at graduation.  Read More...

2018 Summer Food Service Sites
Summer is coming soon.  You may be thinking about what your child will do for meals while school is out.  The good news is that the U.S. Department of Agriculture has partnered in your local community and agencies to serve free meals.  It’s food that’s in, while school is out.  There are no income requirements, and any child under the age of 18 is invited to eat. NHS hosts foreign language camp for 4-6 graders
The Newark High School foreign language program is hosting a camp for students in grades 4 through 6 who are interested in learning beginning French and Spanish. NHS Class of 2018 headed to 30-plus colleges, 5 military branches
164 members of the Newark High School Class of 2018 have indicated that they plan to attend a post-secondary institution or join the military following graduation. NHS celebrated the students during the first Signing Day event. 2014 NHS graduate Stephanie Wentzel spoke with the seniors, before they shared their after-school plans. Within this year's graduation class, students are enlisting in all five branches of the military; two students are attending the Career and Technology Education Centers of Licking County; and students are attending more than 30 different colleges and universities in eight states.
