Newark Youth Softball is holding student registration from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thurs., Feb. 6, and Tues., Feb. 11, in the Newark High School Auxiliary Gym. District to add text messages to all-call service
With winter approaching, the Newark City School District is adding text messages to our notification service. The district uses SchoolMessenger to communicate important messages to families, including closings, delays and other announcements. Beginning on November 19, text messages will be added to the ways we communicate with families. At 5 p.m. on Nov. 19, families with cell phones will receive a text message from the number, 67587, asking if they would like to receive text messages.
