Newark City Schools debuts online student registration and back-to-school forms this summer
Newark City Schools debuts online student registration and back-to-school forms this summer
Newark City Schools is switching to an online student registration system for the 2019-20 school year and beyond. This system will allow families to fill out student paperwork quickly and will speed up data entry for our staff. While there may be building-specific forms for parents to fill out, this online system will take the place of most back-to-school paperwork. The "Back-to-School Gateway" will launch sometime this summer. We have mailed home login instructions to all of our families, which includes more information about the system. Please save this login information for when the system launches this summer.  Read More...

The students revealed that Mr. Ute is this year's recipient of the Ruth Satterfield Award for Prevention Excellence. The Ruth Satterfield Award for Prevention Excellence is given to an individual who actively supports youth development and advances youth prevention across Licking County. Students in the council — from high schools across the county — nominate and vote on recipients for the award. Mr. Ute was chosen due to Newark City Schools' commitment to social and emotional awareness.
