The Newark Board of Education approved the 2018-19 school year calendar during its February 12 regular meeting. The calendar is available by clicking on this link. The first day of school will be on Tuesday, Aug. 21, with the holiday break lasting from Fri., Dec. 21, through Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019. Spring Break will be the week of March 25, and the last day of school will be on Thursday, May 30.
