Calendar approved for 2024-25 school year - change to delay days

A new school year calendar for the 2024-2025 school year was approved by the Newark Board of Education during its March 11, 2024, meeting. The calendar replaces the previous, monthly late arrival days with four full-day professional development days spread throughout the school year. You can find the full calendar by clicking. The change to professional development days comes following the recent approval of a new contract with the Newark Teachers' Association.
