Every Month, Newark City Schools honors 30 students in grades 4 through 12 from across the district as Citizens of the Month, for their leadership and actions inside and outside of the classroom. Students and their families are invited to a lunch in their honor to celebrate their achievements. The April 2024 Citizen of the Month luncheon was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Newark, Ohio. It's time to register for our 2024 summer camps. Please click each link below for more information. All registrations can be filled out online except for Guitar Camp, which must be turned into your child's school. All grades listed as a student's grade entering next fall.

Tryouts for Newark middle school and high school cheerleading squads will be held the week of April 29. Clinics will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and 4 to 5 p.m. on Thursday.
